Present Perfect
Continuous Tense นี้จะใช้พูดถึงเหตุการณ์ที่ต่อเนื่องจากอดีตมาถึงปัจจุบันและต่อเนื่องไปจนถึงอนาคต
ซึ่งคล้าย ๆ กับ Present Perfect Tense เพียงแต่เน้นที่ความต่อเนื่องของเหตุการณ์ที่พูดถึง
โครงสร้างของ Present Perfect Continuous Tense
คุณผู้อ่านสามารถใช้ Present Perfect
Continuous Tense ได้ดังต่อไปนี้ คือ
1. ใช้กับเหตุการณ์ที่เกิดขึ้นตั้งแต่อดีตมาจนถึงปัจจุบันและอาจดำเนินต่อไปในอนาคต
สำหรับกริยาที่ผู้อ่านสามารถใช้ใน Tense นี้ ส่วนใหญ่จะเป็นการกระทำที่ยาวนาน เช่น
learn live lie rest
wait stand sleep sit
stay work write read
เช่น
- I have been writing the
report all day.
- Tichaporn has been learn drawing for two hours.
2. ใช้กับเหตุการณ์ที่เกิดขึ้นและสินสุดลงแล้วแต่อาจมีความเกี่ยวพันในขณะที่พูด
เช่น
- Wut has been drinking, and now he cannot
work.

ข้อแตกต่างระหว่าง Present Perfect กับ Present Perfect
Continuous คือ

Present
Perfect จะมี time phrase คือตัวบ่งบอกเวลาที่แน่นอนไว้ชัดเจน

Present
Perfect Continuous จะแสดงเหตุการณ์ที่ต่อเนื่องกันโดยไม่มีเหตุการณ์อื่นแทรก
ในการนำประโยค Present Perfect Continuous มาทำประโยคคำถามและปฏิเสธนั้น
ผู้อ่านสามารถทำได้ ดังนี้

ประโยคคำถาม เราจะต้องนำ has,
have นำหน้าประธานเช่นเดียวกับ Present Perfect Tense

2.
ประโยคปฏิเสธ เราก็นำ not ตามหลัง
has, have
- I haven’t been waiting for you about ten
minutes.
