Titanic went under water today
Titanic was one of the three big ships which were made
at the beginning of 20th century. It took two years to make this ship. Titanic
started its way from Southampton and went under water on 15th April 1912.
The ship was 269 metres long and 28 metre wide. 885
people worked on the ship. People thought that it wasn’t possible for the ship
to go under water. This idea had catastrophic results. When the ship hit the
ice in sea and started to go down, there weren’t many small ships for all the
passengers. Titanic had 2223 people on board and there were only 1178 places in
all the small ships. Thanks to this and other big mistakes 1517 people died in
the Atlantic.
The other two gigantic ships Olympic and Gigantic were
also destroyed. It’s unbelievable but there is one lady Violet Jessop who
survived all the catastrophes. She worked for the ship company and she always
got out in a small ship.
You can see the ship in the video.
